BIOS: Martin Waters, Jr. - Marty Waters, III - Gerri Fewster - Sam Young

K. Martin Waters, Jr., Chairman of Waters Incorporated and Waters Investments, Inc. Martin Jr. has 50 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, investment and insurance. His primary responsibility is investor relations with clients, sales and syndication of income properties and emphasis in the area of 1031 tax deferred exchanges. A licensed North and South Carolina real estate broker, Mr. Waters is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Davidson College.
K. Martin (Marty) Waters, III, CCIM, President of Waters Incorporated, Waters Investments, Inc., and a principal of Waters Young Commercial Properties, Inc. Marty III is also the managing general partner in numerous real estate projects involving business parks, shopping centers and selfstorage facilities. Active in commercial real estate since 1976, his primary responsibilities include property acquisitions, and overall corporate management and growth strategies. Mr. Waters is a licensed real estate broker in North and South Carolina and earned his CCIM designation in 1981. He graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia.
Gerri Fewster, CPM, Vice President and Director of Commercial Property Management. Gerri is responsible for all commercial property management, leasing and operations which include budget preparation, analysis of costs, contracts, etc. to insure maximum profitability to property owners. She also assists in the administration and analysis of projects for re-development and acquisition. Her management portfolios have included multi-site high rise first class commercial and medical properties as well as retail centers for foreign, institutional and individual investors. Ms. Fewster earned her CPM designation in 1985 and is a licensed real estate broker in North and South Carolina. Ms. Fewster attended Whittier College.
Samuel A. Young, Principal, Waters Young Commercial Properties, Inc. Sam Young began his career in investment real estate sales in 1997. For the past five years, he has been recognized by the Charlotte Board of the National Association of Realtors as a top producer. Prior to commercial real estate, Mr. Young was an analyst with Moody's Investors Service and employed with the Capital Markets Group of Bank of America. He is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Carolina Association of Realtors. Mr. Young graduated from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
